Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumber / Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing and piping systems across various industrial and commercial projects. This role requires a robust understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and safety protocols to ensure efficient and reliable operations. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with blueprints and schematics Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute projects Use hand tools such as wrenches, pipe cutters, and calipers to complete tasks efficiently Conduct rigging operations to lift and position heavy piping or equipment safely Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing or piping systems and implement effective solutions Perform routine maintenance on existing systems to prevent failures or leaks Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and industry regulations Collaborate with team members on complex projects in manufacturing or construction environments Skills Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing principles, and mechanical systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting tasks Experience with rigging equipment for lifting heavy pipes or machinery safely Familiarity with manufacturing or construction environments and related safety protocols Knowledge of schematics related to plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical systems is highly desirable Strong problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail for exact installations and repairs This position is integral to maintaining the integrity of our infrastructure through expert installation and maintenance of piping systems.
