Supervised Instructor (Carleton Place)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Supervised Instructor to join our team as an Independent Contractor. The ideal candidate will work with children and adolescents/adults to provide ABA Therapy aimed at improving overall well-being and socially significant behaviours. This role requires a strong understanding of Neuro-divergence, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with clients and their families. Duties - Conduct assessments to evaluate the learning needs of children and implement individualized treatment plans. - Implement therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices to promote socially significant behaviour changes. - Monitor patient progress through regular data collection and documentation. - Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care when needed. - Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and treatment outcomes. - Stay informed about current research and best practices in behavioral therapy Requirements - Post-Secondary degree or diploma in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, CYC, ECE, DSW or a related field; can be in progress - Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is highly desirable. - Strong skills in data collection, analysis, and reporting. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client care. - Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. - A strong understanding of the Neurodivergent community.
