Job Overview Le Petit Salon is seeking a talented, experienced, and personable Hair Stylist to join our growing team in Ottawa. We are a boutique salon known for our elevated client experience, attention to detail, and modern, welcoming atmosphere. This is an exciting prospect for a stylist who is confident behind the chair, passionate about their craft, and focused on building robust, lasting client relationships. Responsibilities Perform a full range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments tailored to each client Provide exceptional customer service through thoughtful consultations and expert recommendations Build and maintain a loyal clientele through personalized service and follow-up Recommend and upsell retail products to support clients’ at-home hair care routines Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health regulations Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge What we're looking for Proven experience as a professional hair stylist in a salon setting Existing clientele is considered a strong asset Strong consultation skills and a client-first mindset Confidence in cutting, colouring, and modern styling techniques Ability to build genuine client relationships and deliver a high-end experience Qualified, reliable, and team-oriented Retail or front desk experience is a bonus, but not required Compensation: Commission-based structure ranging from 45%–55%, based on experience and clientele What We Offer: A supportive and collaborative team environment A beautifully designed, boutique salon space Opportunities for growth and continued education The chance to build your business within an established and growing brand If you’re an experienced stylist looking for a space that values both creativity and client experience, we’d love to hear from you.
