Senior IT Project Manager Aerospace (Ottawa)

Take the lead in the Future Aircrew Training Program as a Senior IT Project Manager for a public sector client. Utilize your extensive project management skills for aerospace initiatives across three Canadian base locations. This role focuses on supporting the implementation and in-service delivery of a critical training program for aircrew training systems. You will analyze requirements, develop presentations, and provide consultations to the IM/IT team. Engage in Training Readiness Verification, ensuring all technical and performance milestones are met as part of the IM/IT Systems Engineering Design Team. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in kick-off meetings for all Canadian base locations - Analyze IM/IT requirements and develop informative presentations - Provide consultations and technical recommendations to management - Engage in Training Readiness Verification for milestone preparations - Support integration and evaluation plans across multiple systems Requirements: - 5+ years in obtaining TB/GOC Project Approval for Major Capital Projects - Expert in MS Project with 5+ years experience - PMP certification or equivalent required - Relevant degree/diploma in Comp Sci, IM, or IT - Secret clearance needed for this position Utilize project management expertise to advance aerospace training initiatives in support of national defense.
