Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant (Ottawa)

Job Description Are you as passionate about cats as we are? Merivale Cat Hospital has a part time position available for motivated, upbeat individual with previous experience in customer service and/or reception. Be part of a great team that treat our clients and patients with exceptional care! Daily duties would include: * providing excellent client communications face-to-face, by phone, and by email * scheduling appointments to provide excellent patient care * physically able to unpack inventory, including large bags of food and cases of food * maintaining a clean and sterile clinic environment We are looking for someone who: * Can ensure attention to detail * Can multitask and prioritize day to day work flow * Can work individually and as apart of a team * Has flexible availability * Is mature, reliable and is able to anticipate the needs of the client and the clinic * Is knowledgeable in client service and is eager to learn * We are open 6 days a week, so evenings and Saturdays will be involved throughout the year. Possible day shifts available during holidays and summer vacations.
