Seeking an Intermediate or Senior Code Consultant to spearhead compliance in the building sector. Bring your knowledge of Building and Fire Codes to design high-performing spaces for clients. This role is designed for professionals dedicated to ensuring code compliance in both new and existing constructions. You will provide mentorship, prepare in-depth technical reports, and navigate complex code inquiries. Engaging with clients and project teams, you will harmonize all aspects of code application and management while spotting and seizing recent business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate compliance with Building and Fire Codes Mentor junior team members and review their work Compile and present technical reports for projects Consult and support clients on regulatory issues Oversee project management and client interactions Requirements: Degree in Engineering or Architecture necessary Preferred 6 years of Code Consulting experience Robust understanding of Ontario and National Codes Proven ability in project management and client relations Must hold a valid driver’s license with positive standing Drive innovative design solutions by applying your extensive knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
