Retail Operations Associate (Mildmay)

Stewarts is a locally-owned and operated, community-focused pharmacy. We are looking for a reliable part-time team member to support our pharmacy team and those we serve. Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday: 9am to 5:30pm Saturday: 10am to 12pm Job Description: The Retail Operations Associate supports the pharmacy team by processing cash register transactions and managing the daily order from receipt to shelf. Position Duties: - Operating the cash register and handling customer payments - Inventory management: placing and receiving orders, stocking shelves, notifying customers for special orders, checking expiries, etc. - Answering customer inquiries, in person and on the phone, directing to pharmacist when appropriate - General housekeeping and other duties as assigned Hours of work: 25 to 30 hours per week (flexible start and finish time). Monday to Friday, no weekends. Hourly rate: $18.00 - $20.00, based on experience Ideal applicant: - Customer service experience required - Proven cash handling accuracy and experience with Point-of-Sale systems - Experience placing and receiving vendor orders, preferred - Self-starter who manages time well without direct supervision - Ability to multitask while maintaining exceptional attention to detail - Solid communication and interpersonal skills - Familiarity with pharmacy or healthcare-related field would be a benefit - Physical requirements: Ability to stand for prolonged periods, ability to lift 20lbs daily, frequent bending, reaching, and walking.
