Design Assistant Ottawa Valley | Full-Time | Office + Site Done-Right Construction & Renovations Inc. Done-Right Construction & Renovations Inc. is seeking a Residential Design Associate to support our growing design-build team on custom homes, major renovations, and multi-family residential projects across the Ottawa Valley. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about both design and project coordination. The successful candidate will assist with client selections, project organization, supplier coordination, scheduling, and administrative support within a rapid-paced construction and design environment. The Role Working closely with our Design Lead & Client Coordinator, you will help keep projects organized and moving efficiently from planning through construction. This position combines design support, client coordination, and office administration, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both creative and organizational responsibilities. Key Responsibilities - Assist in bringing custom homes and renovation projects to life through finish selections, interior details, and curated design concepts - Collaborate on cabinetry layouts, lighting plans, material palettes, and overall project aesthetics - Create mood boards, presentations, and selection packages for client meetings and design reviews - Source finishes, furnishings, fixtures, and materials while coordinating samples, pricing, and lead times - Participate in client meetings, showroom visits, and site walkthroughs throughout the design and construction process - Help maintain a cohesive and elevated client experience from concept through completion - Support the team with project coordination, organization, scheduling, and day-to-day operational tasks - Assist in keeping project documentation, selections, and communication organized and up to date across internal systems - Take on additional responsibilities and opportunities for growth based on individual strengths, interests, and experience Qualifications - Education in Interior Design or a related field is preferred - Experience in administration, design support, project coordination, construction, or a related field - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Professional communication and client service skills - Interest in residential design, construction, and project coordination - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace BuildBook, Monday.com, Canva, or similar platforms is considered an asset - Design software experience such as 2020 Design Live, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or AutoCAD is considered an asset Why Join Done-Right - Be involved in the planning and coordination of custom homes, renovations, and multi-family projects - Work closely with a collaborative design-build team - Gain exposure to the full project lifecycle from design through construction - Join a company that values organization, quality, communication, and client experience - Competitive compensation with opportunity for growth Apply by sending your resume to: Pay: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pembroke, ON Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2pvv
