Location: Peterborough, ON
Pay Rate: $18-$21/hour
Hours: Monday to Friday– 8:00 AM start time, fluctuating end time
We are seeking a reliable and intuitive
Administrative Receptionist&Bookkeeping Assistant
to join our team in Peterborough. This role involves a variety of duties including answering phones, greeting customers, organizing files, records keeping and data entry. Experience with bookkeeping is a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls and assist people professionally
Greet customers and provide front‑line service
Take and give messages
Provide guidance and instruction to visitors
Communicate scheduling requirements and details
Keep records and update logs as activity occurs
Assist to ensure required documentation is complete
Communicate updates and changes as necessary
Organize and maintain filing systems
Support basic bookkeeping tasks (experience is an asset)
Perform general office administrative duties as required
Requirements
Comfortable working alone and independently
Able to troubleshoot and take initiative
Strong customer service and communication skills
Recognize when confidentiality and discretion are required
Experience with bookkeeping is a definite asset
High attention to detail with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
Excellent organizational abilities
Ability to adapt to a fluctuating daily schedule
