Bartender / Server Wilderness Tours Adventure Resort – The River Barn Work riverside this summer at one of the Ottawa Valley’s most unique restaurants/ eateries! The River Barn is hiring Bartender/ Server to join our team for the upcoming season. The River Barn is a lively restaurant, patio, and event venue located on the Ottawa River, hosting rafting guests, weddings, live music nights, private events, and visitors all summer long. We’re looking for energetic, outgoing, and hardworking team members who enjoy creating great guest experiences in a fun and fast-paced environment. Position Bartender / Server Job Type Seasonal Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available Location The River Barn at 10 Fletcher Rd Foresters Falls, Ontario (Onsite staff housing available) Responsibilities - Provide friendly and qualified customer service - Take food and beverage orders accurately - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages - Serve meals and drinks efficiently during busy service periods - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant and bar areas - Handle POS transactions and payments - Assist with weddings, live music nights, and special events - Work collaboratively with kitchen and hospitality teams - Follow Smart Serve and health & safety standards - Help create a welcoming and upbeat atmosphere for guests Qualifications - Previous bartending or serving experience preferred - Smart Serve Certification required - Strong communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask in a busy environment - Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset - Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays - Experience in restaurants, bars, resorts, or events is an asset What We Offer - Competitive hourly wages + tips - Staff housing available - Staff meal program available - Fun and social workplace atmosphere - Opportunities for growth within the Wilderness Tours hospitality team - Access to resort amenities and activities Schedule - Day shifts - Evening shifts - Weekend and holiday availability required - Flexible scheduling available during peak season About The River Barn The River Barn is Wilderness Tours’ signature restaurant and event venue, known for its lively atmosphere and beautiful patio.
