General Labourer (Seasonal) (Calabogie)

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable seasonal General worker to support our Outdoor and maintenance operations. This role involves hands-on work in outdoor environments, assisting with various maintenance and construction tasks to ensure the proper operation of the Resort. The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Duties - Assist with irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure efficient water distribution - Perform gardening tasks including planting, pruning, mulching, and lawn care - Conduct landscape maintenance activities to preserve the appearance and health of outdoor spaces - Use hand tools and power tools for all work required. - Support construction projects as assigned and some site improvements - Maintain equipment by performing routine inspections and mechanical repairs as needed - Follow safety protocols during all operations to ensure a protected working environment Qualifications - Previous experience in maintenance, gaerdening, mechanical, etc is an asset - Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and maintenance is a plus - Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively - Strong work ethic with the ability to perform physically demanding outdoor tasks in various weather conditions - Prior experience in landscaping, construction is advantageous but not required - Must be able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour Benefits - On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate - Calabogie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Experience - General outdoor labour: 1 year (preferred) Location - Calabogie, ON (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2otl75
