General Labourer (Pembroke)

DO ALL CONSTRUCTION Labourer The Labourer is responsible for providing labour support in a safe and effective manner as instructed by site Foreman. Responsibilities · Pipe laying experience an asset · Prepare sites to ensure maximum optimization of construction work procedure · Clean debris, trash and hazardous materials from construction sites · Dig trenches and pour concrete as instructed (hand digging included) · Assist in installing sewerage pipes and drains · Place traffic signs to warn traffic of construction in process · Load and unload equipment from trucks · Ensure that all work is being done in compliance with the company’s protocols · Use hand tools to dig, cut and shape material as per instructions · All other duties as assigned Skills · Physically fit · Highly punctual · Able to work as a functioning member of a team · Solid work ethic · Ability to work independently in a busy environment · Able to effectively communicate · Able to work well under pressure · Strong attention to detail · Safety equipment required (Steel-toed safety boots and vest) · WHMIS and Working at Heights · Able to obtain security clearance Hourly wage depend on experience – Starts at $18/hour Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2otl7j
