Customer Service Associate I, Renfrew County and Lanark Highlands Township (Deep River)

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions and recommendations Manage sales transactions and work assigned cash register Maintain security of cash and protect company assets Keep the store well‑stocked and recover merchandise Receive merchandise and aid unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standardsEnsure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders Maintain the cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentableOther duties as assigned Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive liftingExcellent customer service and relationship management skills required Strong organizational and communication skills required Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required Compensation

The starting pay for this position is $17.60 per hour. Location
