Service Advisor (Peterborough) (Deep River)

Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for customers needing vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. This role requires robust communication skills, mechanical understanding, and the ability to upsell additional services to enhance customer satisfaction and dealership revenue. Previous dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, along with a solid foundation in automotive repair and customer service. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing expert guidance based on mechanical knowledge Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate recommendations effectively Upsell additional services or products that benefit the customer's vehicle and safety Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all service orders Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns Maintain a clean, organized service area and uphold dealership standards of professionalism Qualifications Prior experience in a dealership or automotive service environment is preferred Mechanical knowledge of vehicles, including automotive repair procedures Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Sales experience, particularly in upselling services or products, is a plus Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism Valid driver's license; clean driving record preferred Perks Dental care On-site parking Vision care Work Location In person Pay: From $17.60 per year #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pvf8q
