Tasting Room Host (Oliver)

Winemaker’s CUT [] is looking for experienced and highly motivated Tasting Room Host for our two Locations in District Wine Village just north of Oliver BC (20min drive from Penticton). We are seeking top professionals with exceptional customer service skills. We are looking for fulltime, potentially all year around employees as well as part time help. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES - Opening and closing tasting room - Providing guests with a memorable tasting experience both indoors and outdoors - Presenting winery story and all our wines with consistent brand messaging - Maintain inventory, organization and cleanliness of the tasting room – on daily basis - Light housekeeping duties in public areas, stocking shelves - Supporting onsite and offsite winery representation, sales and events if asked - Processing sales via a POS and packaging wine, processing online orders, wine club shipments - Any other duties that may be required from time to time QUALIFICATIONS - Advanced knowledge of wine / ISG/WSET is an asset - Passion for wine and professional customer service - Self-motivated and able to act independently to solve problems - Serve it right certificate - Professional, warm and welcoming personal presentation - Attention to detail - Ability to learn point of sale systems - Ability to work most weekends and some holidays - Previous experience in hospitality is an asset - Valid BC driver’s licence, should be able to lift 30-50lbs Expected Compensation: Hourly + Tips We offer Wine allowance, Employee preferred pricing on wine products and other benefits Job Types: Part time, Permanent, Seasonal Pay: From $22.00 per hour Licence/Certification - Smart Serve, SIR or equivalent (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2dye
