Server/Bartender (Penticton)

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient YOU to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in food and drink service. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while accurately handling orders, payments, and maintaining food safety standards. The Server will play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience and ensuring smooth operations behind the counter. Duties - Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences - Use POS systems such as Clover POS to process orders, payments, and receipts efficiently - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies - Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times - Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns - Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions - Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in setting up for events or busy periods Qualifications - Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in a hospitality setting - Zero Experience candidates are welcome - Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously - Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures - Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours - Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating totals accurately - Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations (Serve it Right will be a Plus if you have it) - Hospitality background or personality that fosters a welcoming environment for diverse guests This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences.
