Server/bartender Penticton

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and efficient YOU to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in food and drink service. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while accurately handling orders, payments, and maintaining food safety standards. The Server will play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience and ensuring smooth operations behind the counter. Duties Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences Use POS systems such as Clover POS to process orders, payments, and receipts efficiently Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in setting up for events or busy periods Qualifications Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in a hospitality setting Zero Experience candidates are welcome Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating totals accurately Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations (Serve it Right will be a Plus if you have it) Hospitality background or personality that fosters a welcoming workplace for diverse guests This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering memorable experiences.
