Administrative Assistant, Penticton

Betts Electric Ltd is looking for a Full-Time Administrative Assistant (NOC 13110)! This is a full‑time, permanent position with 40 hours per week, $25.64 to $28.00/hour, with benefits.

Job Description:

Schedule and confirm appointments and meetings of employer

Prepare, encode, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, reports and related material

Open and distribute incoming regular and electronic mail and other material and coordinate the flow of information internally and with other departments and organizations

Order office supplies and maintain inventory

Answer telephone and electronic enquiries and relay telephone calls and messages

Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems

Determine and establish office procedures

Greet visitors, ascertain nature of business and direct visitors to employer or appropriate person

Perform office duties as defined by management.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience as administrative assistant or in a similar role.

Completion of a high school diploma or GED

Additional qualifications in Office Administration or related field is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Language in the workplace is English
