Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, providing exceptional hospitality to our guests. The Bears Den is a long-standing local restaurant in Penticton undergoing an exciting expansion. We are building a strong team to help deliver great food, genuine hospitality, and a welcoming atmosphere for locals, travelers, and hotel guests alike. We are currently hiring Servers who are reliable, energetic, and customer-focused. Position Details - Full-time and part-time positions available - Flexible scheduling - Morning, daytime, evening, and weekend shifts - wages + tips - Staff meals and employee discounts - Opportunity for growth as the restaurant expands Responsibilities - Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and beverage orders accurately - Deliver excellent customer service throughout the dining experience - Handle payments and operate POS systems - Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas - Work efficiently with kitchen and bar staff - Help create a positive and welcoming environment for guests Requirements - Previous serving or restaurant experience preferred but not required - Valid Serving It Right certification (or willingness to obtain) - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Reliable transportation and punctuality - Positive attitude and robust work ethic About The Bears Den The Bears Den has been part of the Penticton community since 1962 and is entering a new chapter with major renovations, expanded hours, an upgraded kitchen, bar service, and event hosting.
