Full-Time Project Engineer in Penticton

This permanent role reports to the Infrastructure Services Manager and requires a Civil Engineering degree along with 3-5 years of relevant work experience. As a Project Engineer, you will lead planning activities, execute independent designs, and guide junior staff while ensuring project success through effective public consultations and stakeholder meetings.

Key Responsibilities: • Carry out diverse municipal engineering assignments • Solve problems using standard procedures and past experiences • Conduct independent design and analysis for projects • Provide authoritative recommendations for engineering decisions • Facilitate public consultations and respond to inquiries

Requirements: • Civil Engineering degree with 3-5 years experience • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and GIS • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite • Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
