Position Summary We are hiring for a permanent, part‑time (0.51 FTE) Clinical Dietitian at Columbia View Lodge located in Trail, B.C.
Schedule Days of work:
Alternating Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays
Shift time:
08:00 to 16:00; 08:30 to 16:30

About this position This position will cover two long‑term care sites in Trail. Schedule is alternating Wednesdays and Fridays at Columbia View Lodge and Thursdays at Poplar Ridge Pavilion. Enteral nutrition and dysphagia experience is an asset.
As a Clinical Dietitian, you’ll play a vital role in delivering meaningful, person‑centered nutrition care as part of a dynamic multidisciplinary healthcare workplace. You’ll use your clinical expertise to assess nutritional needs, develop personalized care plans, and support individuals, patients, residents, and groups in achieving their health goals. Through engaging counseling, education, and ongoing monitoring, you’ll make a tangible impact on patient outcomes while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals. You’ll also be a trusted resource, sharing your knowledge with colleagues and contributing to a culture of learning and excellence within Interior Health. In addition, you’ll help shape the future of care by participating in guideline development, research, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Baccalaureate degree in nutrition and dietetics.
Successful completion of an accredited hospital based dietetic internship program (or equivalent acceptable to the facility).
Full registration as a Registered Dietitian with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
One year of clinical nutrition experience in a health care environment preferred.
Valid B.C. Driver’s License is required.
