Senior Credit Controller (Peterborough)

We are currently recruiting for aCredit Control Senior to join our busy team based inPeterborough. As Credit Control Senior you will support and lead the credit control team to reduce aged debt, protect cash flow and strengthen the end to end debt management process for Mencap. The role is responsible for monitoring overdue accounts, driving timely follow-up, agreeing and tracking payment commitments and escalating non-payment appropriately. This is afull-time permanent position, working37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Standard working hours are9am to 5pm, though we are happy to offer flexibility where needed. While this is anoffice-based role in Peterborough, we understand that work is something you do, not just a place you go. That’s why we offer our office-based colleagues greater flexibility in how and where work is carried out. We’re looking for someone withprevious experience in a similar role, who can manage multiple priorities quickly and accurately. You’ll be confident using IT systems and have excellent communication skills. Do you have the skills to be our Credit Control Senior? - Proven experience in Credit control/collections with a track record of reducing aged debt and improving cash collection performance - Ability to prioritise and manage workloads by value and risk - Strong attention to detail - Excellent customer service and stakeholder relationship management - Strong Finance knowledge, with relevant qualifications, such as AAT level 4 We’re looking for a candidate with experience in a similar role.
