After School Recreation Supervisor Position (Peterborough)

Lead after school recreation programs for children at various locations. Supervise staff and program participants, ensuring a protected and engaging environment for ages 5-14 years. We are seeking an After School Site Supervisor to oversee recreational programs at locations such as Westmount Public School and Edmison Heights Public School. Candidates should have experience with children ages 5-12, strong supervisory skills, and a willingness to obtain necessary certifications. This role includes both paid and unpaid staff management as well as program development and coordination. Key Responsibilities: • Supervise paid and unpaid employees and program participants • Develop and coordinate recreational programs for children • Ensure safety and adherence to guidelines during programs • Oversee daily activities and staff interactions with children • Foster a positive environment for program participants Requirements: • Certification in Standard First Aid Level & CPR C • HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development certification • Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screening • G Class drivers license considered an asset • Availability Monday-Friday during after school hours Lead teams and inspire recreation among youth in your community. #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o08pu
