Mechanical Designer at BWXT - Contract Role (Peterborough)

Drive innovation as a Mechanical Designer on a 12-month contract with BWXT in Peterborough, ON. This role involves designing mechanical systems for nuclear reactors and engaging closely with engineering teams. As part of BWXT, a leader in nuclear energy solutions, you'll report to the Design Services Manager. Your responsibilities include conceptualizing mechanical designs for automated fuelling machines and medical isotope systems, utilizing advanced 2D and 3D CAD software like SOLIDWORKS and Inventor. Solid collaboration with professional engineers is essential as you work on detailed designs, technical documentation, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
