As a Specialist Biomedical Scientist, you will be integral to our Blood Sciences Laboratory, conducting crucial haematology tests and blood transfusions. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in quality control, equipment maintenance, and effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. Experience with relevant systems such as WinPath and Sysmex is a plus, along with robust analytical and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct complex haematology and blood transfusion analyses • Ensure quality control of Sysmex and other equipment • Interpret and discuss test results with clinical teams • Collaborate to enhance patient care measures • Engage in continuous laboratory process improvements Requirements: • HCPC registration with a minimum of two years’ experience • Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Communication skills for teamwork • Driving ability preferred but not essential Begin your impactful journey in this rewarding role in the culturally rich city of Peterborough.
