Contribute to community wellness as a Community Aboriginal Recreation Activator at Curve Lake First Nation. Drive and implement various recreation initiatives that address community-specific interests and needs.

This full-time role involves the planning and coordination of community events and physical activity programs. You’ll ensure active engagement by liaising with community members, enhancing program visibility, and evaluating ongoing activities. Your administrative skills will also play a vital role in supporting application processes for funding and overseeing community projects.

Key Responsibilities:• Coordinate a diverse range of recreation programs and events • Review registrations and implement necessary program adjustments • Develop relationships with community groups to enhance programming • Manage necessary equipment and supplies for activities • Report on program activitiesto enhance service delivery

Requirements:• Post-secondary education in recreation or similar field • Valid first aid and CPR Level C certification • Experience in community program coordination • Strong communication and organizational skills • Valid driver’s license and clear criminal background check
