Kawartha Ethanol Inc. is a state-of-the-art Ethanol Production facility located in Havelock, Ontario. We currently have the opportunity for the following position:

Are you a proactive supply chain professional who enjoys the unique rhythm of a production plant? We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to manage the critical balance of our inventory—from incoming raw corn to outgoing finished alcohol products. In this role, you’re not just moving freight; you are the central hub connecting production, sales, and external partners to ensure our customers get what they need, exactly when they need it.

Key Responsibilities Alcohol Inventory&Customer Service

Balance Supply&Demand:

Manage daily production, sales, and inventory reports to keep our operations perfectly aligned.

Order Management:

Process customer orders with precision, ensuring accurate documentation and timely fulfillment.

Be the Face of the Company:

Act as a key point of contact for customers, resolving inquiries and working with Sales to identify new business opportunities.

Logistics&Distribution

Carrier Coordination:

Oversee scheduling and shipping, working closely with carriers to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery.

Compliance:

Prepare and maintain essential logistics documentation, including invoices and international customs paperwork.

Optimization:

Analyze data to find“hidden” efficiencies and cost‑saving opportunities within the supply chain.

Corn Coordination

Strategic Storage:

Support the management of on‑site long‑term corn storage and lead receiving activities during peak harvest seasons.

Critical Communication:

Act as a link between truck drivers, maintenance teams, and production to manage outages and inventory requirements.

What You Bring

Experience:

3–5 years of related experience, ideally with at least one year in a

continuous process plant environment .

Compliance Expertise:

Solid understanding of shipping

dangerous goods

by truck (domestic and international).

Education:

Post‑secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).

Technical Savvy:

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word). Experience with

commodity management systems

or ERP software is a major asset.

Communication:

The ability to communicate effectively with everyone from senior management to freight carriers and plant staff.
