Product Design Lead (Peterborough)

Job description: Responsibilities: Support Project and Program Managers in the definition of development logic, schedules, KPIs and metrics Evaluate, define and drive design options based on the optimization of existing assets, costs, schedules and risks Ensure the correctness and completeness of the design as it pertains to the customer and industry requirements Review and approve technical data throughout the product life cycle Other duties as required Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering (or equivalent) Minimum 7 years of experience working in product design setting in either Systems, Hardware or Software with a high level of capabilities in cross-functional aspects Knowledge and understanding of key design drivers for aerospace products and solutions including architecture trade offs, safety and security Proven success working in dynamic team environment with multiple stakeholders Additional Considerations: As the product design lead, there is an expected component of the job that will involve guiding and mentoring of technical staff The ability to perform system modelling using tools such as Simulink or other standard MBD tools is an asset Job 60739 Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2omdpw
