Outside Sales Representative - ONT (Pickering)

Our client is a premier Canadian importer and distributor of specialized steel and concrete construction solutions. We are seeking a high-performance Outside Sales Representative (Drainage Systems) to spearhead the growth of a world-class European product line. This is a ''hunter'' role designed for a self-starting professional who can navigate the complexities of both sub-distribution and long-cycle project specifications. Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and close opportunities within plumbing wholesalers, landscape contractors, and mechanical contractors. Specification Sales: Consult with engineers and landscape architects to have products specified into major GTA condo, infrastructure, and parking structure projects. Full Cycle Management: Handle prospecting, technical quoting, and closing, with internal support for complex technical queries. CRM Discipline: Maintain meticulous records of client interactions and pipeline stages within Salesforce. Market Presence: Represent the brand at major industry trade shows in Ontario and occasionally internationally. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 35 years in Outside Sales within the drainage or civil construction sector. Technical Aptitude: Ability to read blueprints and understand water management/infrastructure requirements. Soft Skills: A collaborative ''team-first'' attitude; our client has zero tolerance for ''lone wolf'' or aggressive internal personalities. Summary This is an elite chance for a technical sales professional to ''own'' a territory for a globally recognized drainage brand. You will transition a dormant territory into a market leader through aggressive prospecting and relationship building.
