Multi-Skilled Maintenance EngineerLocation: Pickering areaHours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00am - 5:30pmContract: 40 hours per weekSalary: £19.70 per hour/ £41,000We are recruiting for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing business in the Pickering area, supporting the reliability and performance of plant and equipment across site. This is a hands‑on role focused on reactive breakdown response, planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment- Diagnose faults and complete mechanical and basic electrical repairs- Support plant rebuilds, installations and equipment upgrades- Welding and fabrication work as required- Manufacture or modify replacement parts using workshop machinery- Ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and documented through the CMMS system- Work collaboratively with production and wider site teams to minimise downtimeWhat We Are Looking For- Previous experience within a manufacturing or industrial maintenance setting- Strong mechanical maintenance skills with some electrical competency- Welding and fabrication experience- Good fault‑finding and problem‑solving ability- Comfortable using maintenance systems and completing maintenance records- Flexible approach with willingness to support overtime when requiredDesirable Skills- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or similar- Lathe and milling experience- 18th Edition electrical qualification- Experience with CAD or SolidWorks- Exposure to automation or robotic systemsThis is a great opportunity to join a supportive engineering team within a varied and fast‑paced manufacturing environment, offering long‑term stability and ongoing training opportunities.#J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2okkwf
