Mechanical Engineer (Pickering)

Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) – Nuclear / OPG Cleared Location: Pickering, ON (On-site – 5 days/week) Employment Type: Contract - 12 months (annual extensions) Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) to support projects within a highly regulated nuclear environment. The successful candidate will work on-site in Pickering and bring strong technical expertise along with prior experience working within OPG environments. Key Responsibilities - Provide mechanical engineering support for ongoing projects and initiatives - Review, analyze, and develop mechanical engineering designs, documentation, and technical solutions - Support engineering assessments and ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable standards and procedures - Coordinate with internal stakeholders and project teams to support project execution - Participate in technical reviews and contribute to constructability and design discussions - Ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards and site requirements Required Qualifications - Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) in Ontario - Intermediate-level mechanical engineering experience - Active OPG clearance (mandatory) - Previous experience supporting projects within nuclear or highly regulated environments - Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to work in office in Pickering 5 days per week Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ougpy
