You will plan and deliver a consistent child-centred program in accordance with our YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum (0-6 year olds) and the YMCA Place to Connect curriculum (6-12 year olds). Educator position types and required availability: Supply: must have at least three days of availability to work weekly (Monday to Friday) from 7:00am to 6:00pm. The ability to respond to last minute shift requests and the flexibility to embrace the unpredictability of on-call work; The ability to travel to a variety of centres and work with all age groups is essential. Hours are not guaranteed and can be 0-37.5 hours weekly. Opportunities to work morning, split shifts, and full day shifts also arise. Part-Time Hourly: Part-time hourly staff must be available to work every day, Monday to Friday, from at least 2:30-6:00pm. Positions may be 10 month (September to June) or 12 month (year round). Split Shift Salaried: Split shift salaried staff (in our before and after school programs) must have availability to work every day, Monday to Friday, between 7:00-9:00am AND 2:30-6:00pm to be considered for a position. Positions may be 10 month (September to June) or 12 month (year round). Staff working in these positions are guaranteed 6 hours of work per day (30 hours per week), and receive a full-time benefits package.
