Mechanical Qc Inspector For Nuclear Project Pickering

Join CanAtom as a Mechanical QC Inspector in Pickering, supporting the RFBR construction activities. You'll perform critical quality inspections and monitor welds to ensure safety and compliance. This role requires expertise in quality assurance and mechanical inspection within the nuclear sector. Reporting to Quality Control Supervisors, you'll engage with diverse inspections, review critical documents, and facilitate quality control processes. Adequate training will be provided to ensure you meet industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • Execute inspections as per Construction and Inspection Plans • Conduct visual and dimension weld inspections • Review Certified Material Test Reports • Monitor welding processes and maintain records • Assist Series Quality Control Lead with QC inquiries Requirements: • Knowledge of Nuclear Safety and Quality Program principles • OPG Security Clearance preferred • Communication skills for team collaboration • Background in welding technology or related discipline • Awareness of ISO, CSA, ASME standards and codes Bring your inspection expertise and detail-oriented approach to CanAtom's project in Pickering.
