Warehouse Associate (Pickering)

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our agile team. This role involves supporting warehouse distribution operations, including order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, heavy equipment operation and assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse management systems, heavy lifting, and operating equipment. This position offers opportunities for growth within a fast-paced manufacturing and construction environment. Responsibilities - Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently - Assist with order picking, packaging, and order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery of products - Manage shipping & receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments - Perform heavy lifting tasks to handle materials and products of various sizes and weights - Support construction-related tasks when necessary, including material handling and equipment setup - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency - Assist in inventory management, stock replenishment, and cycle counts Requirements - Proven experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers - Proficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, and order pickers; certification preferred - Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively (up to 150 lbs) - Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes - Ability to work in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail and safety protocols - Prior experience with warehouse experience or logistics is highly desirable This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals eager to develop their skills in warehousing, logistics, and heavy equipment operation while contributing to efficient supply chain processes.
