Intermediate Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) – Nuclear / OPG Cleared Location: Pickering, ON (In office – 5 days/week) Employment Type: Contract - 12 months Compensation: $60–$80/hour INC (based on experience) Position Overview We are currently seeking an experienced Intermediate Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) to support projects within a highly regulated nuclear environment. The successful candidate will work on-site in Pickering and bring solid technical expertise along with prior experience working within OPG environments. Key Responsibilities Provide mechanical engineering support for ongoing projects and initiatives Review, analyze, and develop mechanical engineering designs, documentation, and technical solutions Support engineering assessments and ensure work is completed in accordance with applicable standards and procedures Coordinate with internal stakeholders and project teams to support project execution Participate in technical reviews and contribute to constructability and design discussions Ensure compliance with nuclear industry standards and site requirements Required Qualifications Professional Engineer designation (P.Eng.) in Ontario Intermediate-level mechanical engineering experience Active OPG clearance ( mandatory ) Previous experience supporting projects within nuclear or highly regulated environments Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work in office in Pickering 5 days per week Please note, this is a real and current job vacancy.
