Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our woodworking and cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have experience in custom cabinet construction, installation, and finishing, with a strong understanding of woodworking techniques and safety standards. This role offers an chance to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial spaces, delivering high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Experience in a cabinet shop is a MUST. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately produce custom cabinets. Cut, shape, assemble, and install cabinetry using hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery. Ensure accurate measurements and quality standards are maintained throughout the manufacturing process. Perform finishing tasks such as sanding, staining, painting, or sealing to achieve desired aesthetics. Install cabinets on-site with attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to meet project specifications and deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Assist with related tasks such as rebar installation, flooring installation, tile laying, or general carpentry as needed. Skills Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Experience with woodworking, cabinetry assembly, and installation. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other woodworking equipment. Knowledge of construction painting, restoration techniques, masonry, roofing, siding, plumbing, electrical work, and caulking is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with construction estimating and project planning is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills. Handyman experience or background in construction or manufacturing is desirable.
