Become a Human Resources Business Partner with MPAC The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is a team of experts who assess every property in Ontario. You are a trusted leader who shapes and implements people strategies that drive business performance and organizational capability. You collaborate with Centres of Expertise (CoEs) to deliver targeted HR solutions and leverage data and insights to influence workforce, talent, and culture decisions. Your strategic guidance helps leaders navigate complex challenges, strengthen engagement, and enhance performance across the organization. We have A team of highly skilled, dedicated and collaborative staff Leadership that supports you An enterprise that embraces change A work environment with flexible locations (including hybrid), hours and wellness support You have Post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or a related field Minimum 6 years of HR experience, including 3 or more years in a business partner or consultative role supporting senior leadership Strong business acumen to align people strategies with operational and strategic priorities Experience in unionized environments, organizational design, workforce planning, change management, and HR analytics Proven ability to influence and coach senior leaders, communicate complex information, and deliver results in a dynamic environment Agile, cooperative, and able to navigate ambiguity while fostering an inclusive, high‑performing culture Willingness to travel occasionally to head office, field offices, and corporate events across Ontario as needed What you will do Serve as a strategic partner and coach to leadership, translating business strategy into actionable HR solutions Collaborate with Centres of Expertise (CoEs) to design and implement workforce planning, leadership development, succession planning, organisational design, and change management initiatives Provide guidance on employee relations and labour relations in alignment with Collective Agreement and relevant employment legislation Partner with leaders to embed EDIA (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Anti‑Racism) across workforce planning, leadership, and culture Coach leaders to build inclusive, high‑performing teams and strengthen leadership effectiveness Leverage HR data and workforce insights to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities Support the implementation and adoption of HR programs aligned with business objectives Champion change across the organization, inspiring engagement, fostering adoption, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals MPAC is committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible environment where all employees and members of the public feel valued, respected and supported.
