Service Mechanic - Technician (Pickering)

Service Technician - Air Compressors Position Summary: The Service Technician is responsible for repair and installation of the compressed air equipment including air compressors, dryers, piping etc... The responsibilities of the candidate will be, but not limited to: - Respond to service calls - Inspect, evaluate and repair equipment at customer's location - Communicate with customers to discuss job requirements, provide recommendations - Explain to customer maintenance requirements - Advise the Manager of any new business opportunities. Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities - Experience servicing and repairing industrial air compressors, dryers, and related compressed air equipment - Minimum 2 years’ experience in air compressor servicing field. - Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills - Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge - Ability to read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts breakdowns - Experience with rotary screw, reciprocating, and oil-free compressors is an asset - Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures - Ability to diagnose air leaks, pressure issues, overheating, oil carryover, and control problems - Comfortable working independently in the field - Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record - Good communication skills with customers and office staff - Ability to complete service reports and paperwork accurately - Solid work ethic, punctuality, and reliability - Safety-focused and able to follow company and customer site procedures - Ability to lift heavy tools, parts, and equipment as required This is a full time position.
