Define and execute a comprehensive strategy and multi-year roadmap for the Automation & AI Center of Excellence (CoE), ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry leading practices. Build and nurture a high-performing, multidisciplinary team by recruiting top talent and supporting skilled growth in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. Set clear performance objectives, monitor team progress, and implement development plans to maintain high engagement and achievement. Partner with business leaders across all functions to drive the adoption of automation and AI solutions, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable business value and support strategic priorities. Collaborate with stakeholders to map business processes, analyze workflows, and identify high-impact opportunities for automation and AI implementation. Support the design and delivery of training programs to upskill employees in automation and AI, including technical workshops and self-service enablement for citizen developers. Cultivate an active community of practice to support knowledge sharing, peer learning, and the effective use of automation and AI tools throughout the organization. Support data scientists, automation and AI developers across business areas, promoting cross-functional collaboration and innovation. Provide expert guidance in the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation, AI, GenAI, and Agentic solutions, ensuring robust security and regulatory compliance. Utilize Dev Ops and MLOps methodologies to manage the full lifecycle of automation and AI products, from ideation to operational support. Establish and enforce governance frameworks for the development, acquisition, and operation of automation and AI solutions, ensuring adherence to industry regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies. Maintain a centralized inventory of approved automation and AI tools, as well as active use cases, providing recommendations to the AI Council for tool approvals and roadmap harmonization. Proactively address resource constraints by engaging and managing external vendors when necessary to ensure timely delivery and operational continuity. Develop and oversee a cost-effective support model for automation and AI solutions, aligned with business expectations and service level agreements. Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), return on investment (ROI), and the overall impact of automation and AI initiatives. How to thrive in this role? You hold a bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field. You have 8+ years of experience in automation, AI, or digital transformation, with at least 3 years in a leadership or CoE management role. You have proven expertise in low-code/no-code automation platform and RPA. Good knowledge of Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps is an asset. You have experience working with business stakeholders, creating process maps and defining opportunities for automation. You have experience with software development, with a strong understanding of Dev Ops, MLOps, AI governance, and responsible AI. You have proven experience in managing both project deliveries and operational support. You have a demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex, cross-functional projects. You have experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and modern Dev Ops/MLOps practices is an asset. You are skilled in creating impactful presentations with Power Point. You possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, and change-leadership skills. You demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English within a professional setting.
