Summer STEAM Educator at LAC, Pointe-Claire

Engage high school students at St-Thomas High School this July by teaching STEAM with a focus on aerospace. This part-time role runs from July 6th to July 24th, for approximately 60 hours.

Language Across Continents (LAC) is offering an outstanding opportunity for a passionate and energetic teacher to lead a group of international students through STEAM education. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and show a keen interest in Science and Aerospace topics. You will guide interactive activities and industry visits, enriching students’ learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead experiential learning in STEAM and aerospace • Follow the established curriculum in teaching • Accompany students on industry exploration visits • Create an engaging, interactive learning environment • Participate in all opening and closing ceremonies

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree or relevant educational background • Curiosity and enthusiasm for STEAM subjects • Experience with international students is advantageous • Ability to facilitate engaging and interactive lessons • Respect for diversity and educational engagement
