The Program Manager will oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance while serving as the primary customer contact, supporting contract negotiations, program reviews, and alignment on requirements. Responsibilities include developing proposals, Statements of Work (SOW), budgets, and financial terms, expanding product opportunities with customers, establishing and monitoring program milestones, resolving issues through resource allocation or contract adjustments, and directing cross‑functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and other business units to achieve program success. Primary Responsibilities - Lead the planning and execution of complex projects, ensuring delivery within defined scope, timeline, budget, and aligned with stakeholder expectations. - Effectively communicate project expectations to project team members and stakeholders in a timely and explicit fashion. - Facilitate the definition of project goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develop methods to monitor project progress; and provide supervision if necessary. - Manage project budgets/finance. - Interact regularly with clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for delivery. - Work cross‑functionally to solve problems and implement changes. - Present oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management. - Understand relationship between project and Company strategic objectives and maximize leveraging activities. - More specifically: - Set and continually manage project expectations with customers, team members and other stakeholders. - Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, while identifying and managing dependencies and the critical path. - Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. - Perform Risk Management and Mitigation in a pro‑active fashion. - Perform lessons learned when required. - Accountable for revenue and cash Required Capabilities - Proven organizational, time management, and project leadership skills, with a solid understanding of financial principles. - Strong grasp of aircraft design, integration, and manufacturing technologies. - Skilled in coordinating cross‑functional and inter‑company activities (Engineering, Operations, Finance, Customer Service, etc.). - Knowledgeable in contract terms, conditions, and subcontract management. - Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship‑building abilities across all levels. - Resilient, results‑driven, and action‑oriented with a commitment to seeing projects through. - Effective under pressure and tight deadlines; comfortable taking ownership and accountability. - Team-oriented team player with demonstrated leadership aptitude. Desired Education and Experiences - A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required, along with over 5+ years of relevant experience. - PMP certification is preferred; candidates who are actively working towards obtaining it are also considered. - Proficiency in French is essential.
