We are looking for a full-time Accounting Analyst to work for our Canadian and US businesses supporting customers around the world. We offer a hybrid work model with a mix of home working and occasional office work. The majority of the work can be done remotely. Occasionally, travel to client sites will be required. This is a client facing role. Successful Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in accounting and must be fluently bilingual in English and French. Key Responsibilities - Engage with clients to understand their accounting processes, financial reporting needs, and compliance requirements. - Conduct workshops and interviews to gather detailed functional requirements. - Configure Odoo accounting modules, including but not limited to the Accounting, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing modules. - Customize workflows and reports to align with client-specific processes and regulatory standards. Data Migration & Integration - Oversee the migration of financial data from legacy systems to Odoo, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. - Integrate Odoo with third-party applications such as banking platforms. Training & Support - Develop training materials and conduct sessions for end-users to facilitate smooth adoption. - Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting post-implementation to address any functional issues. - Stay updated with the latest Odoo features and accounting best practices to provide clients with cutting-edge solutions. - Recommend process improvements and system enhancements to optimize financial operations. Qualifications Education - Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. - Professional CPA certification Experience - Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or financial consulting roles.
