During your internship, you will contribute to: - Work on one or more of the following avionics systems: AFCS, Communication (VHF, HF, SATCOM, Datalink), Navigation (ADF, VOR, ILS, DME, TCAS, Transponder, IRS, GPS, FMS, Weather Radar), Displays (EFIS, EICAS, HUD, SVS), Information/Maintenance & Recording (IMS, OMS, Data load, CVR, FDR, AHMS). - Assist an experienced integrator to define and manage the systems and subsystems requirements to ensure safety, certification & aircraft design requirements and objectives are met. - Work with the system suppliers as well as other interfacing suppliers and disciplines on the program to ensure the system is properly designed to be integrated smoothly on the aircraft. - Write reports and documentation to support avionics system certifications. - Support ARP4754A system and aircraft requirement verification and validation. - Support the Final Assembly Line and In-Service Aircrafts for any design related issues. During your internship, you will learn: - The process for managing design changes within a large‑scale engineering organization - The many aspects of aircraft lifecycle management - Requirements management - Priority management and time management What we are looking for: - You have completed 3rd year of a 4-year program in Electrical, Electronics, Software, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent - You have knowledge with specification, function, integration and testing related to Avionics systems - You have knowledge on how avionics systems integrate and interact to the overall aircraft - You have knowledge with the industry standards DO-178, DO-160 and ARP4754 (Asset) - You have strong communication skills (oral and written) - You have solid work planning structure and prioritization - You have the ability to work well in a team environment Boarding Information: - Location: Administrative Centre (CA) - Duration: 8 months - Flexible workplace-Hybrid It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates.
