Bombardier’s Benefits Program - Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more) - Competitive base salary - Retirement savings plan - Employee Assistance Program - Tele Health Program What are your contributions to the team? - Report into the Director, Legal Services for Aftermarket Services & Corporate Strategy - Partner with business units to lead strategic files related to the aviation aftermarket business, including large scale construction & development projects, M&A; projects, digital innovations and supply chain agreements such as lease agreements, asset or share purchase agreements, support services agreements, authorized service facility agreements, maintenance contracts, supply chain agreements. This support will include drafting and reviewing documents, proactively engaging with stakeholders to develop and implement action plans and managing external counsel support. - Manage claims and potentially litigious matters independently or in collaboration with other teams in Legal Services - Play a key role in proactively managing risk through training and coaching, and through the creation and implementation of efficient contract governance processes - Be solicited by stakeholders regularly to ensure compliance with contracts and to obtain an interpretation on different contractual provisions. Your recommendations will impact day‑to‑day relationships with customers and service providers. - Be relied upon for your ability to identify and anticipate commercial and contractual risks by ensuring efficient communication between stakeholders and other business units such as Legal, Tax, Risk Management and Export Control - Anticipate stakeholder needs and proactively develop solutions to meet them - Serve as a key resource on complex and critical issues How to thrive in this role? - You are a member in good standing of the Ontario or Québec Bar. A business degree would be an asset. - You have 9‑12 years of experience practicing commercial/contractual or transactional law. Experience in intellectual property law would be an asset. - You demonstrate great leadership, are autonomous and have excellent legal and business acumen, enabling quick decisions and strategic advice in a fast‑paced environment. - You are comfortable in an environment where technical questions are discussed. - You can easily manage a busy schedule. - You have solid negotiation, drafting, and communication skills and are persuasive. - You demonstrate sound business judgment and good business sense to provide efficient and value‑added advice and solutions. - You demonstrate strong organizational skills. - You are bilingual in French and English, both verbally and in writing. - You know MS‑Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - This role may require occasional travel.
