Professional Engineering - Strategic Process and Applications (PLM and CAD) Short Description: As a skilled engineer you would work in a team called "Processes, Applications and Data Analytics." This role will primarily involve participation in major digital transformation projects for PLM and CAD applications but is not limited to these areas. Responsibilities Analyze, identify, and propose engineering process improvements tailored to the requirements of internal and external clients. Lead requirements analysis workshops. Interact with various parts of the organization to ensure consistency in proposed solutions. Support engineering improvement initiatives aligned with the organization’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) strategy and in collaboration with the IT department. Support users during and after the deployment of process and tool improvements. Effectively manage team priorities and activities. Participate and prepare meetings with the development team to coordinate activities leading to the delivery of proposed improvements. Provide continuous visibility into the progress of multiple projects conducted in parallel. Develop and harmonize project timelines and ensure technical teams adhere to these timelines. Lead activities to identify, manage, and mitigate risks, and prepare contingency plans. Facilitate problem‑solving and ensure engagement of all stakeholders to achieve effective resolution. Thrive in a versatile and hybrid work environment, where some tasks are performed remotely. Qualifications Hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent. Have at least 3 years of relevant engineering experience in a manufacturing company. Have at least 8 years of relevant experience in engineering and/or IT. Have project management skills, with demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities. Have experience with CAD, PLM, ERP, and product change management principles. Have experience collaborating with software architects/developers (asset). Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French, and the ability to train and/or mentor others. Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Possess strong analytical, planning, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills, as well as sound business acumen. Be organized, self‑motivated, and manage your time effectively. Be familiar with aircraft development programs (asset).
