POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are currently looking for a ''Handyman''/Housekeeping Attendant, for our Westisle building in Dorval full time and on call for emergencies. Member of the maintenance department team, the handyman has the main function of ensuring the general maintenance of the building. ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: - Able to change water heaters - Able to lay floating floor - All other related tasks - Carry out site maintenance according to the frequency planned for this purpose or when required - Clean and carry out tasks related to the maintenance of floors and carpets in common areas - Ensure maintenance of property spaces and systems - Ensure security and compliance with building regulations - Ensure the cleanliness of entrances and common areas, terrace and outdoor swimming pool - Ensure the cleanliness of the working environment is maintained - Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the premises - Knowledge of fire safety rules - Knowledge of plumbing and electricity - Knowledge of ventilation system - Maintain the grounds, indoor parking, storage spaces - See to the maintenance and monitoring of equipment and mechanical systems - Wash windows at main and secondary entrances Construction - Actively participate in various company committees - Know and apply company policies and procedures - Clear and salt the entrances - Communicate the maintenance needs for materials and products and upkeep of the building to the immediate superior - Make service calls - Minor repairs in apartments and common areas (plaster, paint, change lights, various installations, etc.) - Organise or perform all other related tasks regarding the maintenance department, as required and as requested by the immediate superior - Preventive maintenance on equipment - Remove snow and ice on sidewalks EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: - A DEP in general builing maintenance (as asset) - A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience - Customer service experience an asset - Has tools BENEFITS: - Salary to be discussed - Free parking - Vacation - Career Chance - Portable JOB STATUS: Permanent: Full Time JOB SCHEDULE: Day time Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2ptmhf
