Join Our Community British Columbia Christian Academy (BCCA) is a Pre‑K to Grade 12 independent Christian school serving approximately 545 students, and operates a Kids Club (daycare centre) serving approximately 270 students in the Tri‑Cities area of British Columbia, Canada. Teaching Opportunities BCCA is seeking BC‑certified teachers for the following positions, with an intended start date of August 31, 2026.

Elementary School

Kindergarten to Grade 4 Teacher (1.0 FTE)– 2 positions

Teaching Assistant– 2 positions

Middle School

Grade 5 to Grade 8 Homeroom Teacher (1.0 FTE)– 2 positions. Successful candidates must be comfortable teaching Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, Bible and Physical Education. The ability to teach Art is an asset.

Art Teacher, Grades 5–8 (0.33 FTE)

High School

Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus, Foundations Math (0.43 FTE)

Drama / Theatre Production Teacher (0.28 FTE)

Faith Expectations for Teaching Staff The successful candidate will model servant leadership and integrate biblical principles into their work, fostering an environment that supports the school’s mission to glorify God and equip students for life and service. Teachers must agree with the school’s Mission, Vision and Statement of Faith and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
