Become an Experienced Woodwinds Teacher in Port Coquitlam, BC, teaching students across all age groups. This contract position offers teaching opportunities on weekdays, weeknights, and weekends.
At Long&McQuade, we are searching for a passionate and skilled Woodwinds Teacher. You will work independently to provide tailored lessons, leveraging effective teaching techniques and curricula designed for individual and group sessions. Candidates must be flexible in their availability and possess relevant teaching experience.
Key Responsibilities:• Instruct students in woodwind instruments of all proficiency levels • Develop tailored lesson plans according to curriculum standards • Conduct engaging private and group lessons • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods • Promote a positive, motivating educational atmosphere
Requirements:• Music degree or diploma from recognized institution • At least Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments • Previous teaching experience spanning various ages • Strong grasp of educational curricula and methodologies • Professional equivalency in music teaching preferred
