French Tutor (Guildford)

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Tutor to provide personalized language instruction to students of various ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, strong communication skills, and experience working with children. This role offers an chance to help learners develop their French language proficiency in a supportive and engaging environment, utilizing your expertise in multiple languages including Mandarin, English, and Spanish. Duties - Develop and deliver engaging French language lessons tailored to individual student needs and learning styles. - Create lesson plans that incorporate speaking, listening, reading, and writing exercises to enhance overall language skills. - Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. - Incorporate cultural elements into lessons to enrich students’ understanding of French-speaking regions. - Utilize various teaching tools and resources, including multimedia and interactive activities, to maintain student interest. - Foster a positive learning environment that encourages active participation and confidence building. - Maintain accurate records of lesson plans, attendance, and student progress. - Adapt teaching methods for students with different learning abilities and backgrounds. Requirements - Proven experience in tutoring or teaching French, with classroom experience preferred. - Strong proficiency in French; additional language skills such as Mandarin, Spanish, or English are a plus. - Excellent writing skills and the ability to create clear instructional materials. - Experience working with children is highly desirable. - Ability to communicate effectively with students of diverse ages and backgrounds. - Passion for education and helping students achieve their language goals. - Flexibility to adapt lessons based on individual student needs. - Prior experience in tutoring or classroom instruction is preferred but not mandatory.
