POSITION TITLE: Cook LOCATION: Port Coquitlam BC COMPANY: Elevate Wellness Inc. Elevate Wellness is a manufacturer of premium natural health and cannabis products located in Port Coquitlam BC. POSITION OVERVIEW Cooking Station Operator ensures all the duties at the cooking station are performed correctly, by following the Standard Operating Procedures, from raw material ordering, receiving, handling, cooking products/prep, inventory control, and reporting of all those activities into Production Software. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS ●Raw Materials planning: Weekly check on inventory level and make purchase orders accordingly. ●When Raw Materials arrive: Handle receiving, making internal label/internal lot codes, allocate them into designated areas, send samples for testing if required, record receipts into Production Software. ● Receive work orders from the office and gather needed ingredients to make/produce preps and products accordingly. ● Prepare batch records as per required by QA. ● Record production batches into software. ● Collect retain samples and send for testing (to external labs, as per required). ● Accurately and on time, completes all required production documentation. ● Develop and maintain a team-based work setting by supporting other departments when is needed. ● Ensure a respectful, safe, and healthy work environment. ● Performs other duties as assigned by the Production Manager. QUALIFICATIONS ● Minimum high school diploma, College or university education is an asset to grow with business. ● 2 years experience in Production, Supply Chain and Logistics, preferable experience in the Food/Cannabis industry. ● Understanding and basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. ● Strong people orientation balanced with an understanding of business needs. ● Highly organized with excellent time management/priority setting skills and knows how to make the right decisions. ● Ability to lift 50lb Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour Benefits: - Dental care - Extended health care - On-site parking - Paid time off - Vision care Experience: - Cooking: 2 years (required) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pj3mn
